Hello all,

I’m in the mood to write something epic this morning. Don’t worry—I won’t attempt it here. But I am going to attempt to be a bit more articulate than I can yet manage in Japanese, although I hope someday to write as well in Japanese as I do in English (I know what you’re thinking and, yes, I opened myself up to that one). I’ve really fallen in love with the language since the beginning of sophomore year, and I have fond hopes for the future.

It’s been quite a week. Last night was fairly quiet, as Friday's go—certainly less eventful than the morning. I had a heart-to-heart with someone whom I realized I’d never really met and found out that we had a great deal more in common than I’d thought. After that, layered and bundled, I went sledding and picked out constellations with a lovely blonde, even though I should have been in bed trying to shake off the Knox Plague. Yes, I’d say it was a good night. Today holds nothing so exciting, although the forecast for this evening includes a 40% chance of Chinese food. Mainly I’ll be studying for Monday’s Japanese midterm and trying to cram my head full of all the neuroscience knowledge that I should have known yesterday.

先しゅうはとてもさむかったです。でも、今日はちょっとさむいです。いいです。私の先生は私をわすれて、フィールドタリップをしました。マルクさんは私をとりもどしました。先生はあやまりをくやみました。

コッタジびょういんに行って、けんがくをしました。げんかしゅじゅつのビデオテープとMRIテストを見ました。とてもおもしろいでした。げんかしゅじゅつが大好きです。
